§ 1. General
The following terms and conditions apply to all contracts, deliveries and other services. Any regulations of the contract partner which deviate from these are hereby explicitly declared invalid. All additional agreements require a written confirmation from us. Edition Block GmbH is entitled at any time to amend or supplement these General Terms and Conditions, including any attachments, with a reasonable period of notice.
§ 2 Purchase contracts
The contracts between Edition Block GmbH and the buyers are sales contracts. The mutual obligations result from the following provisions. Incidentally, the law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, as far as this is permissible.
The main features of the goods can be found in the descriptions of the individual goods. The contract with us takes effect as soon as we receive your order.
§ 3 Orders and prices
All prices shown are excluding German VAT (19%, for books: 7%).
The prices do not include packaging, freight or transport insurance. Shipping is at the expense and risk of the recipient.
The prices stated at the time of ordering apply.
§ 4 Delivery time
The Edition Block GmbH executes the order 30 days after receipt of payment at the latest.
If the failure to comply with a delivery or performance deadline is due to force majeure, labor disputes, unforeseeable obstacles or other circumstances for which we are not responsible, the deadline will be extended accordingly.
§ 5 Right of Withdrawal
You have a right of withdrawal after receiving the goods. You can cancel any contract within a period of 14 days without giving reasons and without payment. To maintain the cancellation period, the timely dispatch of the revocation is sufficient. Due to the timely withdrawal, you are no longer bound by the contract. We will refund you the already paid purchase price. You are obliged to return the goods bearing all shipping costs. The return is only accepted by us, if the goods are in perfect condition.
§ 6 Warranty
Edition Block GmbH guarantees that the sold goods have the contractually guaranteed properties at the time of dispatch.
Upon arrival, the customer must examine the goods immediately for defects and condition. In the case of obvious defects, they must be reported to us in writing within 10 days of discovery, as well as hidden defects. Otherwise, the warranty for these defects is void. No guarantee can be given for any technology contained in the artwork.
§ 7 Retention of title
Until full payment, the goods remain the property of Edition Block GmbH.
§ 8 Jurisdiction
Place of fulfillment and place of jurisdiction as well as performance place for both parts is the seat of the Edition Block GmbH in Berlin. The applicable law shall be exclusively the law of the Federal Republic of Germany.
